Woman Sleeping in Hammock Set on Fire by Her Husband
A Vietnamese woman is lying in a hammock when a shirtless man comes out of the house taking out a bottle of gasoline and poured it on the hammock but the woman jumped up and knocked the gasoline bottle out of the man's hand. Immediately afterwards, the man bent down and used a lighter, causing the fire to flare up fiercely. The woman caught fire and immediately ran out of the hammock and called for help. Seeing that, the man chased after her and struggled to pull the woman back. However, the victim escaped, and the man standing in the yard spoke threatening words. Discovering the incident, a little girl and a little boy ran out of the house into the yard. It is known that the incident occurred at around 9:38 p.m. on December 19, in Hoai My commune, Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province. The victim is Ms. BTB (44 years old). According to the determination of the Commune Police, the person who poured gasoline and set fire to Mrs. B. was Mr. BTA (35 years old), who lived as husband and wife with Mrs. B. The two children in the video are their children. After being burned, Mrs. B. ran to the gate of her house, took off her burned clothes, ran to a neighbor's house and was given first aid by people and taken to the emergency room at the Regional General Hospital. Due to burn injuries on her back, buttocks, legs and hands, Ms. B. was transferred to the Provincial General Hospital for treatment. |
