Re: Woman Mauled By Chimp- Before and After
The state was warned about the chimp by a biologist, the chimp was kept unlicensed... but ultimately, she was not an animal handler, it was not her job to try and rescue and escaped and distressed animal many times stronger than her. She put herself in the line of fire, she got mangled. The state owes her nothing. She got compensation from her deceased friend and employer, and that's where the buck stops, since it was her friend who insisted on keeping a wild animal without any licensing.

Re: Woman Mauled By Chimp- Before and After
Yes, she is ruined pretty much for life.. and it was horrific what happened to her.. But $150 Million? Does she really need THAT MUCH to live the rest of her life out? Have them finish the medical expenses.. toss her $20 Million.. and be done with it. That would be like..1 million per year until she is 80 years old.. more than enough to live off of.. and if she lives past 80? That's what social security is for.. or give Her $30 Million good til' 90.. One thing is for sure... Her Daughter sure looks happy.. (Mom dies, guess who the rest of her cash goes to? |
