Woman Loses Leg In Auto Accident
Both sections seem to be in great shape. Is it possible to reattach it? I'm definitely no expert but know there are several here with more knowledge in this field than me. |

In such a rural looking place I doubt they'd do such a lengthy operation that has a good chance of being unsuccessful. All the nerves and joints are cut too so it would take ages of physical therapy to make it fairly functional.

Attach the leg physically and get a blood flow shouldn't be a problem. The problem comes with the nerves and such. So in theory you could reattach it, but it would be dead-weight. Better off blending it up for the dog and getting a prosthetic  |
