Re: Woman With Esthesioneuroblastoma

Assisted suicide needs to be legalized.

It is a persons right to end their own life if they choose to do so.

Re: Woman With Esthesioneuroblastoma

As long as the person who wants to commit suicide is compos mentis and they have no hope of a cure, if they want to commit suicide I think they should be allowed to or assisted if need be. It's euthanasia. We put animals down when they're suffering. So humans should have the same option.

Re: Woman With Esthesioneuroblastoma

dr kevorkian is my hero. i truly believe if someone is in constant pain with a problem that has no known cure then assisted suicide is the answer. but i also understand why people are against assisted suicide. once the person is dead, who is to say that they wanted to die or not? someone may just be sick and tired of taking care of them or they may have taken out a life insurance policy on them or be a person named in the will. assisted suicide vs murder - could be a tough call for the coroner and the police dept to make.

Everyone deserves to die with dignity!

Re: Woman With Esthesioneuroblastoma

poor thing- you know she had to be suffering! if she were in a hospital or other medical facility the doctors wouldn't bother with the legal crap; they would simply start a Morphine Drip and then speed it up until she quietly passed..... God Bless her, and R.I.P.

Where are you at, because assisted suicide and euthanasia are illegal in most places (with a few exceptions).
If the doctors did what you said they would be convicted of murder.

Re: Woman With Esthesioneuroblastoma

I cannot believe they denied her the right to end her life.
I'm happy she no longer suffers, I hope it was a painless death.
