But attacking a defenceless child or person isn't survival is it? The animals life isn't under threat at all It's because the dog is violent and shouldn't be kept as a pet around children and people in general. Why do dickheads get Pitbulls and Staffys as pets and train them to be violent to walk around with the dog as a weapon then expect the dog to be OK around children who are more likely to agitate the dog through no fault of their own

I have no idea what you are trying to say... You don't know if it's a survival instinct or not and neither do I. We are not canines and we can't read minds.

What I am saying is that if a Pitbull or any other dog attacks a child it's hardly likely to be that the child is giving the dog the idea it is under threat is it? What threat is a child to a dog? Survival instinct would only apply if the dog was being attacked or felt threatened and a child isn't likely to pose a threat to a dog. I really don't think I can put it any clearer than that

My uncle had 2 pitbulls that were treated with love as raised to be a normal family pet, not to fight. Every now and then they would being playing with eachother and just get too excited and then get violent and fight eachother. One almost lost and eye, etc. Just last week same situation happened and he tried to seperate them, they ended up knocking him down and attacking him. he had to have 2 surguries to repair his hand and some stitches in shoulder. The dogs ended up getting put down.

pitballs can and some times do maim and kill other animals including people. so do lions and tigers and bears oh my! (that is why keeping wild animals in most states has been banned.) but pit bulls aren't considered wild animals.

when it comes down to the most dangerous animal on this planet that should be sterilized and/or banned i can only think of one. it is not considered as domestic nor is it considered wild. it does more damage to people and other animals than any pit bull ever will. plus it can do something no pitbull will ever accomplish. it can and is presently destroying our planet's natural resources and environment which are essential for life.

as a whole, this animal is our true threat and it is the one that should be sterilized and/or banned. this animal can be and is presently being trained to kill. this animal is presently killing humans and other animals by the thousands every single minute.

any damages that a pitbull does to humans or other animals is not good but it overall is minimal compared to the damages the human race does on this planet.

why is it the human race seems so concerned about controlling the breeding and the populations of other animals when it can't even control its own species?

i like dogs but am afraid of most of them. they get a whiff of me and they can smell my employment (post office) and my pets (cats) and usually that doesn't start off with a friendly "woof" from them.
