Guess what numb-nutts! If we were to protect everyone from everything, we would have NOTHING... We'd be sitting in a padded room with only a straight jacket for entertainment... If you don't like something, dont buy it... You sure as shit shouldn't be forcing your ideals upon me. |

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
Why is trainging a dog to be violent a bad thing? Police dogs are the most vicious animals that I can think of, they are trained that way... Trained to attack ANYONE that thier master tells them to, trained not to let go. Some police dogs won't even let go after being shot, until the officer tells them to do so. Why is that bad? I've never heard of a police dog eating a 3 year olds face, killing an elderly lady, etc. etc. They are some of the most well behaved dogs EVER. Training a dog to be vicious in the WRONG way is the problem. Telling your dog to attack an intruder is not wrong, your dog deciding to do so on it's own is what makes it dangerous for all.

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
It might not even be the owner's fault for not training the pitbull good enough. I owned a french bulldog, who literally bit everyone. I have five scars on my leg and one on my face AND I was one of the lucky ones. We never quite understood why he bit people until a few days before he died. He had some hormonal tumour and because of it, his testosterone levels were waaaaay beyond normal. You never know.

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
Wooooow. Seriously, blaming the breed? Dogs don't fucking train themselves. It's the dumbass people who like to see animals fight and just plain suck at raising animals. I think people should go extinct. Too many of them are violent. |

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
Bullshit!!! They train the domestic dogs when they are puppies the dog can't tell right from wrong, They punch the dogs and hurt them to make them violent so the dogs will attack anything whether they're instructed to or not they have the violent streak in them. I've seen so many stories in the news especially in the past few years of 'family' pet dogs killing children because they have been trained to attack anyone or anything regardless of age, Clearly all these heartbreaking pictures of children and babies being mauled is proof of that? Police dogs are good yes I'm not doubting that they serve a purpose but even then I think it's cruel the way the train them on illegal Immigrants. If you live in an area populated by family's and children is a dog that's been trained to violently attack really a good pet to have?

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
They say pitbulls are considered great family dogs but when the fuck did that change into being nothing but fucking monsters? I raised a pit from a pup and when she got around a year old she would just about break the leash trying to attack other dogs. She was given a shitload of love and never abused yet it was instinct to attack. That just doesn't seem right. Needless to say I got rid of her. I didn't need a dangerous dog in my house. Now I have a chocolate lab.

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
Staffys are a dangerous breed as well they can be trained to be violent it's not just Pitbulls that are aggressive there's a lot of dangerous breeds. Some dogs have a violent streak that can be tweeked by their owner to use the dog as a weapon on a lead and some can be calm if raised right but at the end of the day all dogs can attack if provoked. If a dog is naturally aggressive it shouldn't be kept as a pet
