What is This on My Leg?

This is on my inner right thigh. It started out as just a tiny little, colorless bump, and grew into this thing over night.

I had one in the same spot on my left leg, if that helps the diagnosis :P

Would any of you happen to know what I'm dealing with here?

Wouldn't that spread infection? I was under the impression that boils were a staph infection.

It does look like a boil....the doctor is probably the best person to see.
