What My Brain Bleed Did To My LEG
Awful muscle wastage of left leg due to no signals being sent there as a result of destruction of the neural pathways in my head. Horrible!! Left foot looks large due to thinning leg. Right leg is fuller than it should be as it is over-compensating for left one. There is spasticty from my knee to foot which causes it to feel extremely heavy, numb and tight all the time Bottom image: (complete with POINTERS My poor wee left pig's trotter of a foot. Destroyed. The toes have clawed and twisted slightly due to zero movement whatsoever and the nail is freshly removed as it drags, gets caught and infected. The red lines are CD marker pen drawn on my scars to show you the scarring from extensive foot surgery to help me walk less freakily! I had muscle and tendon transfer plus severance of my achille's tendon to 'drop' my heel back on the ground. I'm due to have another tendon severed in spring to stop my foot being twisted sideways. Although I look awful, at least I CAN WALK after being told a) I may die and b) I may never walk again |
