Re: What the Holy Hell is This Shit?
You sure about that, the dude in the video says they're "jiggers" or chigoe fleas. The way Guinea worms are removed seems very different to the treatment in this video. For a start they only migrate to the surface of the skin when they reach maturity, which can take up to a year to reach and by that stage the worm is very long, anywhere from 500mm to 1200mm. It can take a day or 2 to fully remove a guinea worm. Look at what is removed about 6 seconds into the video, it's round, squat and looks identical to a female chigoe flea. Chigoe fleas produce eggs, guinea worms are ovoviviparous, that is, the eggs mature and hatch inside the body of the worm, she then expels live larvae when the ulcer on a person bursts and is submerged in water. Antiparasitics aren't typically used in either case, physical removal is typical, though antibiotics are sometimes needed for secondary infections, especially with guinea worm infestations.

Re: What the Holy Hell is This Shit?
Pretty darn. The dude commenting in the video is mistaken. They present outwardly in a similar fashion, but this particular non-necrotic neoplasm is indicative of Guinea worm. Chigoes cause necrosis and the most godawful stench like C. diff diarrhea meets Vedderman's throat cheese.
