Re: Various Self Harm/Cutting Images
Sometimes physical pain can distract from the mental pain. It releases endorphins which can elevate your mood temporarily. At least that's how it was for me.

Re: Various Self Harm/Cutting Images
Thought this would fit in here. I have a history of cutting as well. Not nearly as bad as these people. I was very lucky and most of my scars went away, or they are very faint. It has been 12 years since I even thought about it. I have since learned better, more positive coping mechanisms. |

Re: Various Self Harm/Cutting Images
Yes!!! If you have ever seen the girl that goes by "coldnessinmyheart" she does that kind of shit all the time. There is one where she is pulling the ligament/tendon in her foot/leg..gahhhhh it just looks so fucking painful. Her name is Joan, btw. She has a page on encyclopedia dramatica, and they have some info on her at bodybuilding, com. I think she is German. One of the odd things about her is that her entire body is covered with scars, head to toe, except for the rat tattoo on her forearm. She left that area alone for some reason. I've never figured out why. Good for you as well! I'm glad for you :D we are worth more than that. |
