Reminds me of a scene from an old sci-fi film called Runaway, set in the future, there's a special type of heat-seeking gun loaded with bullets that basically explode as soon as they hit their target, and one goes into the arm of a character Cynthia Rhodes is playing, and Tom Selleck's character has to perform the most excruciatingly delicate extraction procedure ever!
