Another brother was brutally tortured by two brothers in front of his father while demanding the return of his deposited money and gold ornaments. Both of his eyes were brutally gouged out.

The incident took place late last Friday (August 22) at a trader's house in Saheberchar village of Nazirpur union in Muladi upazila of Barisal. However, the matter became known in the area on Saturday night.

The victim, Ripon Bepari (36), is currently undergoing treatment at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barisal in a seriously injured condition. The accused are the victim's elder brother Rokon Bepari and younger brother Swapan Bepari.
