What’s really remarkable is that the 1 year old was merely having ‘problems with her motor skills’ while her cerebrum was literally being crushed into a thin flat layer along the inside of her skull by the giant mass of twin and the fluid surrounding it. The resilience and adaptability of the human body, especially when it has had time to compensate, is amazing. Hopefully they caught it early enough that she goes on to fully recover.

I just wonder how the removal will affect the child's development now. I mean look at the size of the fetus compared to the size of the brain!
