Turtle Boy
Little Didier Montalvo dubbed the ‘turtle boy’ suffered from a Congenital Melanocytic Nevus; a mole that grew so large it almost entirely covered his back. Plastic surgeon Neil Bulstrode, from Great Ormond Street Hospital, in London, operated on Didier, and eventually managed to remove the mole with a series of skin grafts.
