morphine and opium in asian countries does not come cheap. they cost a regular's family's fortune. Practical sense always say if the dying cant be helped even with all the expenses, its not wise to leave the would-be-bereaved a lot of debt on hospital bills. No way any hospital here in the Philippines would administer those for free or humanitarian reason.
The philippines "practical sense" is fuckin stupid and backwards. Common sense tell me that I would find a way to help end her suffering. That other bullshit you wrote is pathetic.

It appeared to me like she was taking her last breaths right there- how can they let her suffer like that? She looked very young; bet that was breast cancer. Horrible and inhumane.
I thought the same!!! She did seem very young!!!! Damn

Unfortunately lots of families keep their loved ones alive for selfish reasons. I can't tell you how many ribs we break in the hospital when we run code on 95 year olds. At some point you just have to let go and do the humane thing.
