@ButterflyLove, yeah that's what I have heard too unless its spotted very early on, which from what I learned, isn't easy because its hard to detect it until it gets to the point where its already spread to other organs and tissues. Poor woman though, I wonder if she made it. I like to think she recovered. I hope she did.

^^^ its very agressive and people seldom live past a year after diagnosis and @ dragon you are so right, the early symptoms of pancreatic cancer are vague and the cancer isn't usually diagnosed until the cancer is advanced and even spread - also because the pancreas is close to the Liver it usually speads there first. Its one of the 'worst' (if there is such a thing) cancer to get...I have seen people die horribly from it. Ovarian cancer is the same - by the time a diagnosis is made its usually too late |
