Tumor + Fungus = Gruesome
These are all funguous, malignant tumors. I feel sorry for these people cause it must be horrible to have a tumor AND a fungal infection in it too.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

it is sad but how can a person let it get that bad  I would be doing anything and everything soon as this started to develop I understand that some people cant get medical help though

I agree with Rick. I can see in some Third World countries without proper medical care but that should never get to that point in the States, UK, etc.

Well, it isn't something they neglected for some reason. These kind of fungal infections are a complication. They already had a malignant tumor. But when the tumor grows through the skin they can get these kind of infections as well. |

Maybe some people see it as something god has done to them and therefore one shouldn't seek out for treatment. Like not getting your kids get vaccinated.

These aren't actually the result of any fungus at all: They're called 'fungating tumors' because they do look like a weird mold or fungus. They're caused when a tumor breaks through the skin and ulcerates (fungating means to 'assume a fungal shape, or to grow like a fungus')
