Re: Trying to Treat A Tattoo Infection
Actually.. He did have to finger it... Standard procedure/protocol for abscess draining. Either use a blunt object like hemostats, forceps, scissors, cotton swab, etc. or if the abscess is large enough? A finger works fine. They do this in order to break up/open any other pockets (loculi) of pus/fluid that may not have drained. (If they don't get all or most of the loculi, there's a good probability that the abscess will return.) As for chocolate milk? first time I seen this.. My exact thought .. |

Re: Trying to Treat A Tattoo Infection
Probably didn't keep the area clean after the tattoo was done.. Sweat, hard area to get to reach to wash. etc. All it takes is a small break in the skin and infection can set in... then do nothing about for a week or so? and this is what you wind up with. |
