Tree Man AFTER Surgery

Wow!

Epidermodysplasia verruciformis (also called Lewandowsky-Lutz dysplasia or Lutz-Lewandowsky epidermodysplasia verruciformis) is an extremely rare autosomal recessive genetic hereditary skin disorder associated with a high risk of carcinoma of the skin. It is characterized by abnormal susceptibility to human papillomaviruses (HPVs) of the skin. The resulting uncontrolled HPV infections result in the growth of scaly macules and papules, particularly on the hands and feet. It is typically associated with HPV types 5 and 8, which are found in about 80% of the normal population as asymptomatic infections, although other types may also contribute.

The condition usually has an onset of between the ages of 1–20, but can occasionally present in middle-age. It is named after the physicians who first documented it, Felix Lewandowsky and Wilhelm Lutz.

Re: Tree Man AFTER Surgery

HAHAHA HPV virus that's the shit that gives people veneral warts and cervical cancer. gross. Here's the skinny: Dr Gaspari, who became involved in the case through a Discovery Channel documentary, believes that Dede's condition can be largely cleared up by a daily doses of a synthetic form of Vitamin A, which has been shown to arrest the growth of warts in severe cases of HPV.

THIS WAS ACTUALLY REDUCED WITH VITAMINS !!! He had previously had surgery and the warts grew back faster than ever and bigger than before.

*dont forget a couple of 'befores'*
and look how happy he is below !!! YAY treeman!

That's amazing.
Can you imagine how painful it would be?
And yes it's the same virus that leads to cervical cancer which I also got at 23. Way too young for that type of cancer.

I remember the earlier photos and the change is unreal as he can actually use his stumps (oops bad analogy for tree man).

Good for him and hopefully with continued treatment he will progress even more.

Re: Tree Man AFTER Surgery

i saw a show on this guy, and the doctors explained that warts are due to a immune system lacking in proper vitamins, so i started taking vitamins every day, in 3 weeks, a wart i had had for 5 years died, all i needed was a little more vitamins, so now i take vitamins all the time, it really does make a difference in how you feel and operate too, healthy living rocks tits
