A trains wheel is not exactly sharp. That is a crush wound as one would expect.

Well I hope to hell they operated ASAP, crush wounds can lead to fat embolisms....not a good thing.

I wish I knew, source didn't state as it was from a gallery illustrating many various traumatic injuries and no follow-up info. I'd like to imagine they succeeded.
