If you check out old medical dictionaries and reference books they consistently call these hideous human defects "monsters". Fabulous post: it even raised some hairs on my chilly little jaded neck.

Omg can you imagine in the "olden days" before ultrasounds, you are giving birth to twins and as the 1st one is being born, the Doctor saying Congrats, it's a......a.......Uhhh, Houston..."  Gads!! Can you imagine giving birth to twins and seeing one of your babies was like one in those pix? I wonder if they even allowed the mothers to see the dead/defective babies like these back then? |
