So, you obviously let someone with absolutely no medical experience in transplant surgery do this to you. You are a fucking idiot, and I'll explain in some detail why. For a start, transplantation, or in this case, simple grafting, should always be done in a full sterile setting, with sterile equipment that has been autoclaved appropriately, full sterile mask, glove, and gown. You need to avoid any pathogens getting into the graft area. Secondly, you don't use local anaesthetic on grafts. Lignocaine/lidocaine and most locals used in a boutique or body mod shop will likely have adrenaline/epinephrine in it. This causes vascular shrinkage in the short term, but at higher doses will cause vascular degeneration. Without an immediately available blood supply to the graft, it's going to die, fast, which leads to... Thirdly, any graft, both on the receiving and grafting skin, needs to be carefully stripped of all subcutaneous fat, as the skin needs to graft with full access to a blood supply, which fat will impede. Doing this will just result in a necrotic bit of graft tissue, as you found out the hard way. Fat also acts as a wonderful medium in which bacteria can grow, hence the requirement for full sterile field and procedure, and will encourage infection, as you also found out. Here's hoping you don't let some fucking retard with a scalpel try any other medical procedures on you in the future, for your own sake. |

One of my friends is mtf and when he got too surgery they had to completely remove his nipples and craft new nipples out of them. I asked for a video but apparently they "don't do that" and also the surgeon sure did not appreciate me asking. I gotta say though, they worked some nipple magic
