Train V Man
This man presented to the emergency room after he was hit by a train. Apparently he lost consciousness and fell on the tracks. There was 0% alcohol on his breath and in his blood. Both feet were completely crushed and had to be amputated. The amputation was performed a little bit above the ankles. - no further information about the outcome, but he should recover. |

Re: Train V Man
I love that terminology “presented” as it applies to emergency room (or medical diagnosis on every level) patient assessment. It’s like someone walks (or in this case, drags themself) in and shouts “Behold!!!” as they briskly remove the bloody sheet covering the wounds. |
