Ahhh yes, Family Guy. My 4 year old loves that show. He went around for a week singing that song. He woke me up one morning. Pssssstttt. Momma! Guess what? What Nickolai? The bird is the word momma! Don't you know?! But to whomever told me what the birds do to each other..thanks! Still doesn't change my opnion of birds. I hate them all. Interesting info tho! |

that looks like a Harrier taking down a juvenile gull. apparently something or someone frightened off the Harrier before he finished the job. cool set of pics! where i use to live we got to see hawks makes kills all the time, my husband said watching one strip a dove all the way down to dinner was awesome, but he decided he didn't want to see the end right there on the porch so he waved his hand and the the hawk carried his meal away. it never bothered me to watch them tear apart the bunnies.
