Those wounds are definitely not drug related. Those kinds infection/wounds look nothing Like that. And iv users don't shoot in their bicep. Really no good veins in that area.

This patient was intentionally cut due to a condition called Compartment Syndrome. Swelling of legs, arms and other parts of the body cause pressure that if unrelieved will result in the death of the limb.
Filleting the limb will relieve the pressure, save the limb and allow for it to heal. Most often happens with trauma or any circumferential swelling of a limb.
