Tib/fib Broken in Half

That's the incision they make when they insert the metal rod. They literally drill the bone and pound the rod into place, then put screws in.

My Grandmother sustained a similar injury while simply standing in the shower about 15 years ago. 2 titanium plates and some screws. Hope that heals well. Follow up with physical therapy. It helps. |
