Probably never. Some people are raised by others who should never have become parents. They hate themselves and take it out on their own children which then makes those kids not fit for much sometimes. When will parents stop beating their children? Ever?

I dunno how anyone can lay a finger on their own child... even the thought of it is sickening to me. If I did it, I would be so disgusted with myself, I don't think I could live with it.

Humans are the worst. When they aren’t brought up right it leads to endless mental issues that sometimes are so deep they only surface at specific times. Children, without meaning to, upset parents to no end. Even well balanced parents have a hard time with incidents their child did even by accident. It’s those times when un-balanced (adults) parents loose it and take it out their own frustrations on a spouse or their own children. I never had any and am so glad I didn’t. Never wanted to be a parent, ever…
