I wish there were more pictures of the recovery. Very interesting post, great that they managed to save the testicles by putting them under the skin og his thighs. But wtf were those black things on his stomach?

It looks like they did skin grafts to speed up healing. One picture his stomach is fine, the next there are little white patches all over on the exposed raw area and bloodied gauze on where the black parts are. Each little piece they graft would exponentially increase the rate at which skin covers the area. Maybe the black is iodine/some antiseptic powder or they cauterized the area..I doubt the latter
