Re: Tetanus Neonatorum
Poor babies! So tiny... I had a severe cat bite right into one of my finger joints. I wasn't up on my tetanus shots, so they gave me a double dose. I should be good forever! Unless another bite occurs... |

Re: Tetanus Neonatorum
One would think. I last had a shot in 2004 or 2005. Here, in the US, they give you one if you have some kind of wound they think might get infected. For some reason, I think contact with things made of metal is involved. I had cut a finger with scissors at work and needed 7 stitches. They aim for a muscle, too, so the arm is sore for a couple of days. Looked it up. Tetanus is caused by bacteria found in soil and animal feces. They recommend a shot every 5 years, if exposed to either. |

Re: Tetanus Neonatorum
i dont think i have those shots yet. wonder why they dont make that mandatory here. my one of my sisters have 6 kids, the other sister have 4 but i dnt remember them getting those shots as well. unless they came in package shots like those of my dogs. 5-in-1 or 6-in-1 vaccines. thats a scary one. thanks for the post
