Teens on Third Rail.
Teenaged Lollapalooza concert-goers were violently electrocuted after stopping on the train tracks to pose for a photo on their way to the concert. Shocking video footage shows the moment three teens headed to the music festival in Chicago stopped to snap a selfie on the energized train tracks and were zapped by roughly 600 volts of electricity, according to the New York Post. The incident occurred at the Ridgeland Green Line stop in Oak Park at around 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 5. The video shows two males and a female preparing to take a photo on the rail when suddenly the male leans back and his entire body goes stiff. He reaches his hand out to grab onto the female sitting next to him, electrocuting her as well. The teens were seemingly traveling with other friends who remained on the platform, one of whom was filming the incident. The third person on the tracks does not seem to have been shocked, instead staring in horror as his two friends suffer electrocution. After a few moment he jumps into action and attempts to aid the others. The video shows a brief moment in which he appears to suffer a slight shock and throw his hands in the air before continuing to assist. The Oak Park Fire Department said the male victim went into cardiac arrest, and was rushed to Loyola Medical Center, where he was listed as in critical condition, according to the Post. |

Re: Teens on Third Rail.
What a courageous lad the first boy was. Many would have given up at first zap. Or even not attempted any aid.

Re: Teens on Third Rail.
It's a damn shame an oncoming train didn't obliterate the lot of them as they struggled.
