First of all, that "shotgun" is a disaster-waiting-to-happen with that construction, particularly the complete lack of a trigger-guard (and I'm sure lacking any sort of internal firing-pin-block/hammer-block safeties.) You'd be an idiot to even load that piece of shit. Next, if a gun slips out of your hand, don't try to catch it! Let it drop to the floor. Modern guns (unlike the POS pictured in this thread) won't discharge when dropped under most circumstances. (That is, unless they're SIG P320s... good choice there, US Armed Forces... but I digress.) The gun might get a few new scratches, but at least you won't run the risk of accidentally grabbing it by the trigger and shooting you or someone else. |
