India. A group of children were playing in the street near the Central Industrial Security Force campus.

During the game, someone's slipper was accidentally thrown over the 8-foot-high security boundary wall.

The teenager, Tattoo, 16, climbed the boundary wall to retrieve the slipper. As he was navigating back, he lost his balance on a beam and fell directly onto the wall's defensive infrastructure.

A sharp, protruding iron rod pierced through his neck and jaw, exiting through his mouth.

Local residents rushed to his aid. It took nearly an hour of intensive effort using a mechanical cutter machine to slice through the iron rod and free the boy.

He was rushed by the police and locals to the Barwah Civil Hospital for immediate first aid. Due to his life-threatening injuries and critical condition, doctors promptly referred him to a specialized facility in Indore for advanced surgery.

Surgeons there successfully performed a complex operation to remove the iron rod from the teenager's jaw and medical professionals have declared that he is now out of danger.

I had a photo in my tattoo shop over 30 years ago of a kid in New York who did this very thing. He was climbing a wrought iron fence, slipped, fell and got a spike through his neck and out of his mouth.
