Tartar
Tartar is hardened plaque that forms on the surface of the teeth. Tartar is quite dark, which is explained by the fact that it contains food debris, dead cells, bacteria, salts of phosphorus, iron and calcium.

Re: Tartar
That's definitely coupled with some piss poor oral hygiene. I didn't go to the dentist for almost 20 years and my shit didn't look anywhere near as bad as this. Wasn't that I didn't want to go, but was a combo of growing up dirt poor and no insurance until I was in my mid 20's. Of course I brushed and flossed regularly. Now I use a waterpik and def prefer that to flossing. But damn, at least brush yo fucking teeth |

Re: Tartar
Lovely I tend to get tartar rather easily, so in addition to daily flossing as well as brushing with an electric toothbrush, I aim to see my oral hygienist twice a year. The only downside to this is that you won't see me posting any personal, dental related nasty content |
