This reminds me a bit of an old Law & Order scene. It was Jerry Orbach and Jesse Martin, they'd gone to chat with a Coroner/Forensic Pathologist lady about a case they were on. Dialogue when they'd completed that: She: Well, I should be going, I have to pull a javelin out of someone's chest. Jerry: Hey, why'd you get into this line of work, anyway? seems fake, they wouldn't just twist and yank it out. The person would be put under and in the OR to prevent any bleeding out.
