Re: Surviving
lol and that's why some people who did face tattoo don't have any judgmental problems from anyone, or even have a regular 9-5 office jobs right? Because it's the heart and mind that matters, not the face.

Re: Surviving
As someone with facial scars following 2 assaults (one by a dude trying to rob me when I was 20, the other when a psych patient at work managed to get a suction canister out of another room at beat me in the face with it at 26), you are only right on paper. Yeah, they show “heart”, but only if someone has that mental thought process to see that. If I’m honest, it’s rare. I don’t give a fuck about my face - grew up in one of those wannabe model families and was always the ugly duckling. I was always cool with that. But the psychological impact my scars caused were so surprising, that I couldn’t think to understand how facial scars effect women until the second set. I used to say the same shit you do, so I get and respect the heart you’re showing with it. But the reality of it is not everyone thinks with good intentions..... most are pretentious assholes, really. And on a different note, based on my experiences working both EMS and as an ER nurse, that is looking more like a GSW that any MVA damage. Damage is moving outward. But she’s so mangled, unless I could see a few factors a little better, I can’t say 100%, but I’d put money on it. |
