Don't know how that happened. They cut a muscle to relax the spincter so the fissure can heal and to lessen the chances of getting another. I think that was a chemical (can't think of which one right now) they put on the gauze.

Was probably Iodoform. Used for well over a century, had to use iodoform packing in my elbow. stuff stinks..in his case? it really stinks..  |
