Re: Surgery to Repair "crossed Eyes"

Amazing. I can't imagine how sore/irritated this will be while healing. I go near-death if I get an eyelash in my eye.
I had this done. Thankfully they gave eyedrops that helped with that. And the IV opioids they injected during the surgery felt like heaven when I regained consciousness. I had dope cravings for more than a year afterwards. Now I see why people get surgery over and over again.

I hope everything was a success with your surgery. How long did it take for the eye to feel normal?

I'm very satisfied with the result. It took about a month to heal.

Re: Surgery to Repair "crossed Eyes"

I had this surgery done on both eyes when I was 4 years old in 1977. I was born cross-eyed. I can remember not being able to turn my eyes either way after the surgery. If I wanted to look at something to the right or left of me, I had to turn my head because my eyes didn't move either way for quite a while. I don't remember any pain or anything afterward. However, I was 4 years old so I don't remember much from back then.

I really wish we could have seen the "before" and "after" images.

Re: Surgery to Repair "crossed Eyes"

Looked like it was a ***** so could've left the way it was since they can't open their eyes all the way anyhow.

The external genitalia are that of an otherwise normal adult male. (I was in the pool!)

Re: Surgery to Repair "crossed Eyes"

That was no relaxing incision, Jesus Screaming Christ, if anything I was a lot more tense!
