God man, I used to use them all the time for 10 years and always wore my safety goggles but I don't think it would of stopped that by the looks of it. "OUCH" |

That's why you should wear a face shield when using a grinder, not goggles. Safety goggles wouldn't do anything but fog up now and then making it difficult to see. Probably what happened to this poor sap plus not knowing that you need to actually tighten the wheel properly before using... Consider yourself lucky.  |

Never buy cheap grinder discs, make sure you tighten the chuck, and wear a face shield.
