Roof of his mouth is split wide and his teeth are splayed out too. Firing the gun is like little explosion in his mouth. The explosion does damage, it's not just the bullet. On here surely you've seen what an m-80 does to someone's hand, image what it would do in the mouth...same idea. |

Makes me think that the guy in The Patriot who shoots himself in the head with a flintlock pistol should have made a much bigger mess.
