Suicidal Guy Jumps from Bridge into the River
Specialized teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the River Police resumed their operation at first light on Saturday. Despite intensive efforts over the past 4 days using boats and rescue gear after 18-year-old M. Q. S. jumped in the river.

Doesn't look thought through, perhaps an impulse buy. Unless you flat can't swim, the spot he stepped off at looks nowhere near high enough to kill or maybe even just injure. Likely stunned and drowned. :(
