Re: Sub-decapitation in Suicidal Chainsaw Injury
I can't believe he actually survived that, holy shit. Nice job on the surgery too, looks great all things considered. Another failed suicide attempt where they apparently wanna live after. |

Re: Sub-decapitation in Suicidal Chainsaw Injury
To start off, I am in the States (Florida). In 2007, I had 2 hospitalizations. The 1st for a lower back fusion with 2 discs replaced with cadaver discs (I was only 27) with some bitching rods, plates and screws. The 2nd was adverse reaction to the medication mix I was given post-op by my referring specialist. My 1st was around $78,000, just for the hospital. Everything together was around $100,000. Insurance paid all of it, except for approximately $100-$200. The 2nd was the big one. I was in there for a month in a coma. Had several cardiac arrests, dialysis constantly, lung biopsies, ICPM in my cranium, etc. With everything added up for that one, including the helicopter flight, it came to right under a cool million. I have to add that I was in a high level cardiac unit and was being prepped for a double transplant (liver and kidney). That may help explain why so much. I do have to add that I have had Blue Cross Blue Shield for almost 30 years and they saved my ass. They covered pretty much everything, because I reached my catastrophic maximum with my first hospitalization. The same doctor that fucked me up wound up killing someone else with his “preferred cocktail of meds” and another poor dude is a vegetable. I luckily have a mom that has been in the medical field since the early 80’s and as soon as she walked in my door and saw my yellowed eyes, we were off. |
