Struck By 25kV Overhead Power Line This poor kid got struck by railways overhead powerline (25kV) probably during rainy day. Trespassing railways in Malaysia is a serious offence and can be prosecuted if caught. Approximately 80% on the right side of his body burnt due to the strike.   ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

I went to school with someone who grabbed a live cable in a train yard. He never did it again. He died. It took the authorities 2 hours to cut him off the cabling and the roof of the train car he was stood on. This was back in 89. I'd have thought people would have understood the dangers by now. Hopefully this child will recover.
