If I was in the same situation, I would be caught between not wanting to suffer anymore and wanting to have the doctors just end it....but not wanting to deprive my child of one of their parents....or deprive my parents of one of their children.

Is the case ongoing? Is there no chance of him being fitted with prosthetic limbs? It's scary, going from thinking you have a simple cold to THIS.....

he was a good looking guy! I hope his wife sticks with him through it. Atleast hes still alive to watch his kid grow, would probably be hard on the kid to understand whats happening to his dad

Yes, it's ongoing. He will be fitted prosthetics, but not until after he heals. I'm hoping for some facial reconstruction, too.
