I once knew a guy who had a staph infection. I used to see him around the university at least once or twice a week back when I was in school. Then one day I ran into him and he was on crutches. I asked him what the hell happened, and he said he had gotten a nasty staph infection. I never asked to see the damage and he never volunteered to show me, but I guess now I have a pretty good idea of what he had been dealing with.
