Brazil, March 2015. Police arrested a 26-year-old man for attempted homicide. He was arrested after striking the face of his younger brother with a kitchen knife. According to the man, he was drinking along with his cousin and his younger brother in a bar when a discussion began between him and his cousin. The younger brother intervened in his cousin's favor and so he got offended and assaulted his younger brother. The fight lasted for about twenty minutes until he picked up a knife and struck his brother in the face next to his nose. The knife was buried in the head of the young man, who was rescued to the hospital consciously. After entering the emergency room of the hospital, police sheriffs contacted civil police officers of the 35th Precinct who came to the scene, gathered information about the author of the crime and succeeded in arresting him in the family residence. In an interview, he said he does not regret what he did, because his brother went to take his cousin's side, that's what happens. He was charged for the crime of attempted murder. The victim was transferred to Hospital to have the knife removed from her head. |
