Re: Spiders, Anyone?

Well, it's not like I KNEW said person was so afraid of spiders that it would kill em. I think I could get away with it. Just need to be sly when taking the pictures.

Re: Spiders, Anyone?

Small spiders scare me enough, but those camel spiders are terrifying. And the photographer of that last picture, Igor, has a lot of awesome bug photos, especially of mantids.

I wanted to get a pet scorpion a few years ago. First time I ever saw one that I could buy. Anyway, I was there with my mom and asked to hold it. The guy put it in my hand and I was giggling like a school girl. The guy was just giving me this odd look and I turned around to show my mom to find out that she was hiding behind the wall. I wanted to buy the little guy, but was told that if I did, I'd have to eat it.

I know that has nothing to do with spiders, but I thought it would be fun to share.

Re: Spiders, Anyone?

LOL, that'd be my mom. She's terrified of spiders or anything that resembles one.

Re: Spiders, Anyone?

Eh, as long as it's not a tick or a potato bug, I'll try and pet it.

One day, I'm going to loose an arm.

Not to worry, I'll probably lose a few limbs.

Re: Spiders, Anyone?

Bugs like that are the reason I keep a magazine full of snake shot around.

Re: Spiders, Anyone?

I live in an area where brown recluses live, I have to shake out my clothes and blankets before I use them.
