Spider Bites From What I Think Are Camel Spiders
The result of various spider bites. As to the spiders that did it, they it depends on the source. They are supposedly all from camel spiders, but one said it was from a brown recluse, while another angle of the pic said it was from a camel spider. Enjoy. |

Camels spiders, right. Learn to research or at least google. They are also called Solifugae which will help with understanding this link. After reading about the urban legends, please notice the section on venom controversy.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solifugae#Urban_legends |

Re: Spider Bites From What I Think Are Camel Spiders
I did use Google. I originally found the pics looking for brown recluse, but knew they were not from a brown recluse, so I researched, and found the pics under camel spider. I never researched into what a camel spider was, because it is a common name used for them. After reading about the venom, I don't see your purpose in pointing it out. I never stated the stories, like one of the pics was 9 days after the bite. I appreciate your response, but I don't see why you pointed out the venom controversy to me.

It can, it just takes a few days to take such effects. Basically, it is s cross of the venom and an infection. A lot of minor things like that can lead to massive infections really quick. I learned that from working at a fish market. One prick from a fish fin sent my sister to the hospital in less than 24 hours.
