Ive been bitten 3 times by dogs, twice by labradors and 1 by beagle. I own 2 pit bulls. Pit bulls were designed to be animal agressive not human agressive. If a game dog during a fight would bite a owner they would put it down. Thats how the old days of dog fighting were. You really need to train a pitbull to be human agressive.

Well as mentioned by someone else earlier that in the animal kingdom they will attac what they perceive to be the weak. A small child is far more likely to be bitten than an adult. Can hardly blame a small child for running up to pat a puppy dog whereas an adult will approach such a dog with much caution or stay well clear of it. So yes children put themselves into vulnerable positions at the mercy of such an animal should it either (A). Deem the child as weak prey or (B) be startled or threatened by a child encroaching into its space. |

That would make you lucky. ALL dogs need to be trained. I worked for a while as a dog groomer but had to quit because i got bit several times a day by all sorts of dogs, specifically Chiuahuahs, Had pitbulls rotties and dobbies come in all the time, they seemed to be the best behaved.

My brother had 2 pits for over six years. I met them and played with them and we all thought they were lovable goofy dogs that would not hurt a fly. About 2 years ago we were all in his backyard playing in the pool and listening to music and had the neighbors over. Suddenly, out of the blue they both attacked the 13 year old neighbor boy who was sitting at the edge of the pool dangling his feet in the water. He pulled away by falling forward into the pool. The dogs were not willing to follow him in. But they would not let him out either. He had a large bite out of the back of his right arm and a bite on the back of his neck. The dogs tried to attack him again when we tried to get him out of the pool to medical attention. They would not listen to my brother. We were finally able to tie up the dogs and get the boy to the hospital. My brother had both dogs euthanized and got a Lab the next day. Sooo  Pits

Some dogs are bread over 200 years to become savage beasts for riping flesh apart those kinds of breeds are banned in the Uk but theirs always some chavs breeding them. They are very teritorial even attacking a family member and the jaws canot be opend once they get stuck in.

in these situations people are the one to blame, not animals
We never trained our dogs - spaniel, jack russell, scottish terriers, alsatian - and they never ever ever bit or suchlike.
