no no no no no no no.. getting attention was THE LAST thing on my mind when i would cut myself. first time i cut myself i was 15, ripped the metal clip from a pen (angry with myself). you wouldn't believe the relief it offered me. very short lived relief though :(... sucky part is trying to hide the damn cuts.

Does anyone know if this girl is dead? She has so many scars and sewn up cuts, not to mention how thin and unhealthy she looks. I cannot imagine she's still alive.

i never cut to the bone, but back when i did cut, (one to two inches deep and two to four inches wide), i did not feel the pain of it. disassociation takes care of the pain for some of us. later on when being stitched up in ER, or after having surgery, definitely felt it. 2yrs and 2mos cut free now.

do a search. i don't know her name, although one of her friends may have mentioned it in one of the 2388 comments posted here; i honestly don't remember right now. she lives in germany. her dead mother's name is joan. she loves her pet rats and belongs to a social website connected with such. look for other picture clues. one group of people found her with fewer clues than that and managed to get her into a clinic, but that was years ago.
