My boyfriend's brother was stabbed in the chest with a survival knife. His mom saw the ambulance after his brother was taken out of it. She said the paramedics had to use a hose to wash all the blood out. Horrible image. He didn't make it.

Worst one I had was a kid who played Russian roulette with a snub nose .38 and lost. Bullet went in the side of his head and ended up at the surface of his left temple. You could feel where it was under the skin. Anyway he bled out nonetheless but remained "alive" so we had to work him until given doctors orders to terminate all life saving measures which he didn't. So by the time we got to the hospital which was 20 minutes away in one of our old ambulances I glanced down and saw blood sloshing back and forth everytime my driver hit the brakes. After 7 hours of clean up we eventually after a year decommissioned the ambulance. Fun fact: everytime it rained the license plate would bleed on the ambulance |
